PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT

    There are many situations that can influence a person to seek therapy services. Maybe you are going through a difficult transition, such as grief, loss, or divorce. Maybe you are experiencing signs and symptoms of anxiety or depression and are feeling nervous, worried, or sad. Regardless of the life transition or the type of symptoms you are experiencing, it is my goal to establish a therapeutic relationship in which you feel comfortable enough to talk about difficulties, learn additional ways of coping, and move past whatever is standing in your way of feeling better.

    I have extensive experience working with anxiety and depression, as well as more serious and persitent mental illneses and substance abuse. Specific disorders include Adjustment disorder, Anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress disorder, Major Depression, Bipolar disorder, and Schizophrenia.
